Harley Quinn Is The Newest DC Bombshell
We were told there would be a bomb theme, but it seems that got dropped somewhere along the way. In my mind I had this fantastic image of Harley actually riding a bomb, like the pinup girls on the side of WWII planes. Imagine that! So for me, the final product doesn’t quite live up to my expectations. She’s nice, but not as nice as Supergirl, Wonder Woman and Poison Ivy: there’s a spark with the other 3 that seems to be missing here, which is sad because I adore Harley. Hopefully she looks nicer when we get to check her out in person at SDCC!

To quote one of our regular commenters on the site regarding the opening line of this paragraph, “So, they dropped the bomb with this one is what you’re getting at?” Yes Six8Ten, your terrible pun is dead on.

Hellboy is finished! I ended up adding pecs & chest hairs that didn’t turn out as silly as I’d feared. I took some inspiration from the movie, I guess, and gave him a rosary as well, but that was mainly because he needed something extra and gold paint is awesome!
I’m really proud of how he turned out because he was TOUGH. There are some white spaces but whatever, it happens when it’s hand painted, and you can’t see them from straight-on.
Now the real question: do I send pictures of him to Hellmail…
you should send pictures of him to hellmail yes you should.
Like Taito does better prize figures than Bandai does regular figures. Even Megahouse really. Like The sculpts are great. Yosuke does kind of have a weird facial sculpt but that’s more due to lack of fine detail/shading than bad sculpting. Plus it’s like 10 bucks a pop. These 4 combined were the price of one Bandai figure so really I can’t complain at all.
I love toys, and I love great deals on toys. Classics are especially the best.
I found these two by chance on eBay last night—they’re UFO catcher plushes that are poseable. They’re very soft, like terry cloth—I know, because once upon a time, I had the Chibimoon one.
The Chibimoon one, solo, unboxed, can go for up to 64.99—I found this set for 29.99 for both of them, with shipping from Japan.
These two toys date back to 1994, so finding them in their boxes after almost twenty years is a real victory.

The entire set has Sailors Neptune, Mercury, Moon, Chibimoon, Venus, Pluto, and Uranus, as you can see.
New toys are amazing—but old toys are just as great, too!
I just took a look at it and it seems to be pretty legitimate. Amazon will typically get their items in later than other places, because it’s still got to wait for the items to ship from Japan to their warehouse before they can ship them to their sellers. It’s still worth the pre-order, though, even if you’re willing to wait a while.
The waiting will also save you on shipping, with their super-saver shipping deal!

Chris says yep. Yep you can pre-order it and it looks like they have the first release bonuses which it didn’t have when the amazon links first started popping up on.

Sailor Moon Says You Can Never Have Enough Pictures Of Her S.H.Figuarts
It seems like Bandai has fixed a lot of the issues we saw at Toy Fair: the weird gap in her waist is gone, for one! And her faces are so adorable I could scream with glee. But I won’t, because that would be weird–however, all bets are off when they finally show off Sailor Mars, the undisputed best Senshi. Hopefully the rest of them won’t be so hard to snag, though if it’s based on popularity I do worry that the freshly announced Sailor Mercury will be a bit difficult to get!

Take A Closer Look At Vertex’s Persona 4 Arena Mitsuru
Mitsuru Kirijou from Persona 3 is one of my favorite character in the history of everything, and in my mind she doesn’t have nearly enough figures. Actually it definitely isn’t just me, because Mitsuru only has two figures: one from Kotobukiya and one from Alter, and they were both produced a very long time ago. I have the Kotobukiya one, in fact it was my very first PVC figure! And I think the Alter one sucks, so I really desperately need more Mitsuru in my life. Enter Vertex, my lord and savior, bringing us Mitsuru in her Persona 4 Arena outfit.
